RESOLUTION NO. 22-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CAROLLO ENGINEERS FOR ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION FOR THE SYCAMORE AVENUE SEWER TRUNK REPLACEMENT PROJECT - DUCK POND PARK TO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT WHEREAS, the Sycamore Avenue Sewer Trunk Replacement Project will be under construction shortly; and WHEREAS, Carollo Engineering was selected for and completed the design for the Sycamore Avenue Sewer Trunk Replacement Project; and WHEREAS, retaining the design firm to provide engineering support during construction is standard practice and ensures the City can be responsive should design issues arise due to unforeseen, underground conditions and to respond to requests for information, review submittals, and provide permitting support; and WHEREAS, the contract is fully funded with Sewer Funds that were included in the adopted FY 22-23 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with Carollo Engineers for a not to exceed amount of $284,000 for Engineering Support Services during construction for the Sycamore Avenue Sewer Trunk Replacement Project - Duck Pond Park to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the thirteenth day of December, 2022 by the following vote of the Council:
