SUBJECT: City Council Regular Meeting Dates for 2023
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Review the schedule of City Council Regular Meeting Dates in 2023 and consider canceling one or more regular meetings in August and the November 28th and December 26th regular meetings.

There was no commission or subcommittee review of this item.
FISCAL IMPACT OF RECOMMENDATION:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council traditionally goes dark for one or two meetings in August of each year to allow for vacations, and generally cancels the second meetings in the months of November and December if they fall on holiday weeks.
August meetings are scheduled for August 8th and August 22nd. The November 28th meeting is on the Tuesday the week after the Thanksgiving holiday. City Offices will be closed November 22nd through November 26th. The December 26th meeting falls on the Christmas Holiday with City Offices closed December 20th through January 2nd.
Attached is a 2023 Calendar showing all City Council and Commission meeting dates and dates when City Offices are closed due to holidays.
