RESOLUTION NO. 23-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES APPROVING LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT #22-02 FOR SYCAMORE CROSSING LOT 1 AND LOT 2 APN 404-020-094 & 404-020-095 TO FACILITATE PROPOSED HOTEL SITE PLAN WHEREAS, on May 9, 2017, the City Council of the City of Hercules approved Lot Line Adjustment 17-01, for the Sycamore Crossing site, a lot line adjustment resulting in Lot 1, a 1.77-acre parcel and Lot 2, a 11.12-acre parcel; and WHEREAS, on September 10, 2019, the City Council of the City of Hercules adopted Resolution No. 19-051, approving the Sycamore Crossing Planed Development Plan and Vesting Tentative Map VTM creating Parcel A, B, C, D, E, F, and G; and WHEREAS, a Final Map for the Vesting Tentative Map has not been submitted or approved; and WHEREAS, Section 10-2.102(e) of the Hercules Municipal Code states that lot line adjustments of the type begin requested are not subject to the Provisions of Title 10, Chapter 2 “Subdivisions”, so long as the lot line adjustment is approved by the City Council in a form acceptable to the City Engineer; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 15305(a) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, approval of Lot Line Adjustments is categorically exempt (“minor lot line adjustments… not resulting in the creation of any new parcel”) and do not require an environmental impact report or negative declaration; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director, the Planning Director, contract City Surveyor, and City Council have reviewed the proposal and deemed its configuration and content to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the City Council hereby approves Lot Line Adjustment 22-02 for the Sycamore Crossing Project to facilitate the proposed hotel site plan.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the twenty-eighth day of February 2023, by the following vote of the Council:
