Subject: GARBAGE LIENS FROM June 1, 2023 - ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING Attached is a combined preliminary list of two “batches” of unpaid charges for waste collection services provided between May 2022 – August 2022 (Octobers batch) and January 2023 – March 2023 (June’s batch) As you will note, lists includes 84 records, representing $33,352.25 in delinquent service charges and $2,520.00 in City Administrative Fees, for a total of $35,872.25 to be assigned to the City for lien against benefitting properties. All required notices have been provided to account holders and property owners.
Please schedule this item for City Council consideration at the earliest possible date and let me know when it is scheduled for City Council consideration. After Council approval, we will provide you with an updated list for recording. After recording, please provide us with a copy of the enabling resolution and cover sheet bearing the document recording information.
The next Administrative Hearing to consider liens for delinquent waste collection service charges is scheduled for Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers.
