RESOLUTION NO. 23-
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Hercules amending the general FUND FY 2022-23 Budget FOR police department INCREASING its appropriation BY $42,350 for the vehicle storage fee related to a homicide investigation WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the FY 2022-23 Budget on June 28, 2023, representing the financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Hercules; and WHEREAS, staff is proposing that General Fund expenditure appropriations for Police department budget be increased by $42,350 for the cost associated with vehicle storage fee related to a homicide investigation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the report and recommendations of the City Manager on the budget amendments and has determined that the budget amendments are both fair, appropriate and warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Hercules hereby approves amendment to the General Fund Police department FY 2022-23 Budget to add $42,350 for the costs associated with vehicle storage fee related to a homicide investigation.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 27th day of June 2023, by the following vote of the Council:
