RESOLUTION NO. 23-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CSG CONSULTANTS FOR A NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $66,080 TO COMPLETE A BUILDING FACILITIES CONDITION ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, the City owns and maintains 10 major buildings including City Hall, the Library, Senior Center, and Community Center; and WHEREAS, the proper upkeep and maintenance of these buildings is needed to provide the broad range of essential services they house in an uninterrupted manner; and WHEREAS, completing a Building Facilities Condition Assessment including 10-Year Capital Improvement Program will allow for planned, proactive maintenance of these facilities over the next decade; and WHEREAS, CSG is on the City’s pre-approved vendor list for Building Inspection & Management and their team is highly qualified to complete the Assessment; and WHEREAS, sufficient funding was included in the Adopted FY 23-24 Budget for the cost of the Assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with CSG Consultants for a not to exceed amount of $66,080 to complete a Building Facilities Condition Assessment.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the twenty-fifth day of July 2023 by the following vote of the Council:
