8:45a Parks and Rec Staff pick up and transport students & HS personnel *From Hercules High to Hercules City Council Chamber
9:00a Welcome
*City Manager welcome message, intro City Staff and Council *Council extends welcome to the students and HHS staff, selects a couple students to report out at the Council meeting that night Re: what learned 9:20a Overview of the YIG event
9:25a Break into groups of 4
9:30a Begin the DYNO Community Challenge exercise
*Hand out game boards & Dyno Dollars, explain exercise
*P&R staff to lead the exercise
(NOTE: need easels, boards and markers)
10:40a Tour City Hall
*Two groups, (1) to PD – meet Chief and staff, and (1) to City Hall – meet staff; switch 11:10a Get in the vans, head to Fire Station
*Meet and greet Fire Chief & staff. Tour station
11:40a Head to Community Swim Center
*Debrief what students learned, have some pizza
12:10p Return to High School for afternoon classes
