RESOLUTION NO. 23-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT WITH MIG, Inc. AND APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION OF $12,900 TO CONTINUE THE ONGOING EFFORT TO MEET THE DELIVERY OF THE PARKS MASTER PLAN AND APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION WHEREAS, A Parks Master Plan and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Assessment will provide the information for the City that is needed to take a proactive approach in addressing aging park facilities, responding to the need for inclusive parks, and anticipating the future recreation needs of the community; and WHEREAS, the City entered into an Agreement with MIG, Inc. to complete a Parks Master Plan and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Assessment for Parks Facilities on September 13, 2022 for $190,845; and WHEREAS, the proposed first amendment would add $12,990 to the agreement to continue the ongoing effort to meet the delivery of the Parks Master Plan effectively; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the FY 2023-24 Budget on June 13, 2023, representing the financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Hercules; and WHEREAS, staff is proposing to amend the General Fund budget to include expenditure appropriations of $12,990 for the completion of the Parks Master Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the recommendations of the City Manager on the budget amendments and has determined that the budget amendments and proposed agreement are both fair, appropriate, and warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hercules as follows:
Adopt a resolution authorizing the first amendment to the agreement for an amount not to exceed $12,990 with MIG, Inc to continue the ongoing effort to meet the delivery of the Parks Master Plan; and Amend The FY 2023-24 Budget Appropriation by $12,990 to pay for the associated services.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 14th day of November 2023 by the following vote of the Council:
