RESOLUTION NO. 23-
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Hercules Approving the Final Map and Subdivision Improvement Agreement for Tract No. 9606 “Owl Ranch” located at 215 Skelly and authorizing the City Manager to execute the Subdivision Improvement Agreement on behalf of the City Council WHEREAS, the Owl Ranch residential subdivision, which was formerly known as 215 Skelly, was fully entitled at the September 27, 2022, Council meeting, which included approval of Vesting Tentative Map #22-01; and WHEREAS, the project subdivides the 7.44-acre parcel located at the terminus of Skelly, just south of the intersection with Pearce, into 40 single-family residential lots along with parcels for a stormwater treatment area, emergency vehicle access, an open space buffer, and an existing cell tower; and WHEREAS, the developer, D.R. Horton, is proceeding forward with the project including on-site grading activities and building plan check; and WHEREAS, D.R. Horton recently submitted the Final Subdivision Map 9606 “Owl Ranch” and executed Subdivision Improvement Agreement - Tract No. 9606 “Owl Ranch”; and WHEREAS, both the Final Map and Subdivision Improvement Agreement have received the appropriate review and are recommended by staff for approval; and WHEREAS, approval of these documents will allow D.R. Horton to obtain the financing needed to advance the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the City Council hereby approves the Final Map and Subdivision Improvement Agreement for Tract No. 9606 “Owl Ranch” located at 215 Skelly and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Subdivision Improvement Agreement on behalf of the City Council.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 14th of November 2023, by the following vote of the Council:
