SUBJECT: 2024 Council Appointments on Regional Committees and Council Subcommittees RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Review and make Council Appointments to Regional Committees and Council Subcommittees for 2024.
BACKGROUND:
In January of each year, the Mayor appoints members of the Council to both Regional Committees and Council Subcommittees for a one year term.
Mayor Romero requested each Council Member to send their interests to the City Clerk via email for the Mayor’s consideration. The City Clerk has forwarded the Committee interests received to Mayor Romero.
Attached is the List of Regional Committees and Council Subcommittees identifying the appointees for 2023. The 2024 list of Regional Committees and Council Subcommittees includes the addition of the MCE Board meeting time and location.
FISCAL IMPACT OF RECOMMENDATION:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
