SUBJECT: Authorize Display of Pride Month Commemorative Flag RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Display of Commemorative Flag for the month of June 2024 – Pride Month BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to the City’s approved Flag Policy, this item is being presented to allow the City Council to consider and approve a request by a member of the Hercules City Council to display the Pride Flag at the Hercules Civic Center during the month of June.
If the Council also approves the display of the Juneteenth Flag from June 14th through June 21st, the Pride Flag will be displayed for the entirety of the month of June except for June 14th through June 21st of 2024.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None as a result of this action.
