RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES ADOPTING THE 2024-2026 HERCULES CITY COUNCIL STRATEGIC GOALS WHEREAS, strategic planning is a disciplined effort of establishing the direction of an organization by assessing procedures and decisions to move the organization forward; and
WHEREAS, the benefits of strategic planning are that organizations can increase their effectiveness and efficiency, make better decisions, improve communications with the public; and
WHEREAS, the consulting firm Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions led the City through the strategic planning process and developed a report identifying City Council’s goals for 2024-2026 and beyond; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the report and believes that it appropriately captures the goals identified by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Hercules does hereby adopt the attached report along with the identified goals for 2024-2026.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 28th day of May 2024, by the following vote of the Council:
