HERCULES CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. XX –
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL CITY LOGO WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hercules desires to officially adopt a City logo that would identify officially sanctioned items including documents, correspondence, awards, commendations, as well as miscellaneous articles utilized to publicize City events; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hercules desires to publicize the City’s logo such that the citizens may rely on this emblem to signify an item that has official City approval and support; and WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the official adoption of a City logo will create civic spirit and serve to unify the City in working toward the goals and objectives desired by the citizens who reside in the City of Hercules.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Hercules adopts the following graphic as the official City logo.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 23rd day of July 2024, by the following vote of the Council:
