A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT TO CONTINUE THE INDEPENDENT AUDITING SERVICES WITH THE PUN GROUP WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR AN ADDITIONAL TWO FISCAL YEARS WHEREAS, the City is required to have an annual financial audit within six months of each fiscal year end; and WHEREAS, the City of Hercules has entered into an agreement with the Pun Group for the provision of auditing services to the City which expires at the conclusion of FY 2023-24 audit; and WHEREAS, the City of Hercules wants to continue to use the services of the Pun Group to provide auditing services to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute an agreement with the Pun Group to provide auditing services for FY 2024-25, FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27, in the amounts of $61,000, $64,050 and $67,253, respectively, with the option to extend for an additional two fiscal years in the amounts of $70,615 and $74,146, respectively.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 10th day of September 2024 by the following vote of the Council:
