HERCULES CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 24-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES DESIGNATING A BOARD MEMBER AND ALTERNATE BOARD MEMBER TO THE MUNICIPAL POOLING AUTHORITY OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the City of Hercules is a member of the Municipal Pooling Authority of Northern California; and WHEREAS, the governing documents of the Municipal Pooling Authority require the City Council of each member City to appoint one Board Member and one Alternate Board Member to the Board of Directors of the Authority; and WHEREAS, the governing documents of the Municipal Pooling Authority require that the City shall appoint staff persons responsible for the City’s risk management function as the primary and alternate Board Members; and WHEREAS, the City of Hercules last appointed the City’s Primary and Alternate Board Members to the Municipal Pooling Authority by Resolution No. 15-048 adopted by the City Council on July 14, 2015; and WHEREAS, after a review of positions involved in the City’s risk management function, it was determined that the position of Human Resources Manager should be identified as the Primary Board Member.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that the position of Human Resources Manager is hereby designated as the City’s Primary Board Member to the Municipal Pooling Authority of Northern California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the position of City Clerk is hereby designated as the City’s Alternate Board Member to the Municipal Pooling Authority of Northern California.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 10th day of September 2024, by the following vote of the Council:
