SUBJECT: City Council Regular Meeting Dates for 2025
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Review the City Council Regular Meeting Dates schedule in 2025 and consider canceling one or more regular meetings in August.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council traditionally goes dark for one meeting in August of each year to allow for vacations and generally cancels the second meeting in November and December if they fall on holiday weeks.
August meetings are scheduled for August 12th and August 26th. The November 25th meeting is on Tuesday, the week of the Thanksgiving holiday. City Offices will be closed November 26th and November 28th. The December 23rd meeting falls on the Christmas Holiday with City Offices closed December 23 through January 1st.
Attached is a 2025 Calendar showing all City Council and Commission meeting dates and dates when City Offices are closed due to holidays.
FISCAL IMPACT OF RECOMMENDATION:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
