COMMUNITY MEETING ON PUBLIC SAFETY
I. SPECIAL MEETING - 7:00 P.M.
Mayor Bailey opened the meeting at 7:00pm.
II. City Manager and Mayor Opening Remarks
Mayor Bailey welcomed residents and acknowledged that all of the City Council Members were in attendance. City Manager, Dante Hall, spoke to the purpose of the meeting- to provide an opportunity for the community to have a forum to talk about the incident that has impacted the community and for City Staff and City Council to listen to the community's feedback, comments and answer questions. It was noted that details regarding the case could not be discussed. City Manager Hall introduced the moderator, Brian Addington.
III. Presentation from Public Safety Consultant Brian Addington Public Safety Consultant, Brian Addington, moderated the meeting. He provided a brief introduction and shared his professional background. He reiterated that current case details could not be discussed during the meeting. Mr. Addington introduced Police Chief, Joseph Vasquez. Chief Vasquez gave a description of the incident and generally described Police Department training and policies.
IV. Public Comment and moderated Question and Answer Session Mr. Addington facilitated the question and answer session. Chief Vasquez addressed questions and comments from the residents.

V. ADJOURNMENT
City Manager Hall provided closing comments and the meeting was adjourned at 8:47 P.M.
