Tilottama Municipality is one of the best municipalities in Nepal and is known all across the country for its community development practices like community forestry, community irrigation, community sanitation and hygiene, and community schooling Through its annual policy, the municipality has decided to expand its cooperation to other cities across the globe. The crucial reason for doing so is to share the development and other experiences and implement the best practices adopted by the city governments of various countries.
Since the United States of America is Nepal's prime development partner and has assisted the country in various areas of development and cooperation, our municipality has agreed to establish and enhance city to city and people to people contacts with the city governments of the United States of America.
