SPECIAL MEETING - COMMUNITY MEETING ON PUBLIC SAFETY
I. Welcome - Opening Remarks - 7:00 P.M.
Mayor Bailey opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. and welcomed residents.
II. Summary of Last Public Safety Meeting
City Manager, Dante Hall, provided a summary of the last public safety meeting. City Manager Hall noted that specific details regarding the case cannot be discussed. Police Chief, Joesph Vasquez, was introduced.
III. Presentation on Police Policies Discussed at Last Meeting Police Chief Vasquez, welcomed the community and thanked them for attending the meeting. Chief Vasquez went through the topics for discussion and reinforced the need to make strong community connections and build community trust.
IV. Public Comment
Public comment was provided by Sarah Creeley, Roslyn Spruit, Francis Spruit, Doris Sykes, Sandra Castaneda, Aldred Colquitt, Kristina Gradishar, Nancy Estebez, Angela Beal Bradley.
Police Chief Vasquez provided a response.
V. Closing Remarks
Closing remarks were provided by Police Chief Vasquez and City Manager Dante Hall.
