HERCULES CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HERCULES THAT DECLARES THE IDENTIFIED LIST OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, WHICH IS DEEMED OBSOLETE AND NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC OPERATIONS, AND AUTHORIZES STAFF TO PROCEED WITH THE DISPOSAL OF THE IDENTIFIED SURPLUS PROPERTY WHEREAS, as a result of computer upgrades undertaken in the past year, there is a substantial buildup of various IT equipment and electronic devices such as outdated computers, peripherals, and other electronic components that are no longer in use but require proper management and assessment for disposal; and WHEREAS, the equipment is classified as outdated and inoperative, primarily due to its age and the deterioration of critical components; and WHEREAS, all operational hard drives have been reformatted to thoroughly erase any information stored in their memory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hercules that certain City property is declared as surplus, as identified in Exhibit A, attached hereto, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes the proper disposal of said property.
The foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hercules held on the 8th day of September 2026 by the following vote of the Council:
