Antonio, Administrative Analyst with the City's Economic Development Department at 9700 Seventh Avenue, Hesperia, CA 92345. Written comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. April 18, 2023.
Subsequently, all comments will be summarized and incorporated into the 2023-2024 Action Plan, as appropriate prior to submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
BACKGROUND
2023-2024 Action Plan: The City is an entitlement community that participates in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program which requires the submittal of a Five-Year Consolidated Plan as part of the City's grant application to HUD which was approved and submitted to HUD in April 2020. The plan establishes a framework of housing, community and economic development priorities for the City's CDBG program over the next five years. The 2023-2024 Action Plan represents the fourth year of the 2020- 2024 Five-Year Consolidated Plan. The Action Plan will appropriate CDBG funds to specific programs and projects for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The City's 2023-2024 CDBG annual allocation is $899,363 to be utilized for the implementation of programs and projects that benefit low-and moderate-income residents.

El Plan de Desempeño 2023-2024 representa el quarto año del Plan Consolidado de Cinco Años de 2020-2024. El Plan de Desempeño asignará fondos de CDBG a programas y proyectos específicos para el Año Fiscal 2023-2024. La asignación anual de fondos de CDBG 2023-2024 para la Ciudad es de $899,363 para ser utilizados en la implementación de programas y proyectos que beneficia a los residentes de bajos y moderados ingresos.
