RESOLUTION NO. HWD 2023-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE HESPERIA WATER DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 HESPERIA WATER DISTRICT BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL $64,000 IN FUND 700 WATER OPERATIONS WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Budget on June 20, 2023; and WHEREAS, due to manufacturing delays, the trucks were not delivered during FY 2022-23 and the anticipated total expenditure of $64,000 will occur in the FY 2023-24 Budget; and WHEREAS, the FY 2023-24 Budget does not include $64,000 for the purchase of two (2) 2023 Ford Ranger mid-size 4 x 4 trucks; and WHEREAS, a budget amendment is needed to appropriate funds to the Water Production budget; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District has reviewed the proposed budget amendment for the procurement of the vehicles and has found it acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HESPERIA WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the recitals above are true and correct and adopted as findings.
Section 2. That the District hereby amends the FY 2023-24 Water Operating Budget and appropriates $64,000 to Account 700-29-400-4020-8420.
Section 3. That the Board Secretary shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
