RESOLUTION HWD NO. 2023-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE HESPERIA WATER DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 HESPERIA WATER DISTRICT BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL $490,390 IN FUND 700 WATER OPERATIONS WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Budget on June 20, 2023; and WHEREAS, the anticipated total expenditure of $490,390 will occur in the FY 2023-24 Budget; and WHEREAS, the FY 2023-24 Budget does not include $490,390 for the repair of Well 22; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District has reviewed the proposed amendment information and found it acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HESPERIA WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the recitals above are true and correct and adopted as findings.
Section 2. The District hereby amends the Water Operating Budget and appropriates $490,390 to Account No. 700-29-400-4020-8440 in the FY 2023-24 Budget.
Section 3. That the Board Secretary shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
