Resolution Defining HJPFA Regular Meeting Schedule.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Hesperia Joint Public Finance Authority (HJPFA) Resolution 2024-01 defining the specific regular meeting schedule for the Hesperia Joint Public Finance Authority.
BACKGROUND
On October 2, 2012, the City of Hesperia (the “City) and the Hesperia Water District (the “District”) passed Resolution 2012-068, entering into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement establishing the Hesperia Joint Public Finance Authority (HJPFA) for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the City and the District.
ISSUES/ANALYSIS
Resolution 2012-068 establishing the Hesperia Joint Public Finance Authority does not state specifically the intended schedule of regular meetings. In order avoid any future confusion, HJPFA Resolution 2024-01 establishes that regular meetings for the Hesperia Joint Public Finance Authority will occur at the same time and location as the regular meetings of the Hesperia City Council.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this Resolution.
