NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Public Hearings will be held before the Hesperia City Council, City of Hesperia, California on the following date.
DATE OF HEARING: 3/19/2024 (Tuesday)
TIME OF HEARING: 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible PLACE OF HEARING: City of Hesperia, Council Chambers, 9700 Seventh Avenue, Hesperia, CA 92345 Any person affected or concerned by these proposals may submit written comments to the City Clerk's office before the public hearing or appear and be heard in support of or in opposition to the proposals at the time of the public hearings.
If you challenge these proposals in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you, or someone else raised at the public hearings described in this Public Hearing Notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to the public hearings.
FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:
1. Consideration of Urgency Ordinance 2024-03 pursuant to California Government Code Section 65858 extending a moratorium for a period of ten (10) months and fifteen (15) days a moratorium on the establishment or expansion of single price overstock/discount stores.
Any person interested in the proposals may contact the City Clerk's Office at 9700 Seventh Avenue, Hesperia, California, 760.947.1007 during normal business hours. The pertinent information will be available for public inspection at the above address.

A public hearing before the Hesperia City Council has been scheduled for March 19, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 9700 Seventh Avenue, Hesperia, CA. The public hearing will be in reference to the project described as follows:
Consideration of a site plan review (SPR23-00027) and Density Bonus Agreement (DA23-00002) to construct a 114-unit senior affordable apartment complex which includes a two percent density bonus and 34 affordable units on approximatly 5.6 gross acres within the High density residential (HDR) District of the Main Street and Freeway Corridor Specific Plan located on the south side of Live Oak Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenue (Applicant: Shree Properties; APNs: 0407-142- 03 & 04)
