RESOLUTION NO. 2024-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL $173,300 IN FUND 100, GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Budget on June 20, 2023; and WHEREAS, the lowest responsive-response bidder for the purchase of five (5) 2024 Ford Bronco Sport four-wheel drive compact SUV’s is Sunrise Ford; and WHEREAS, the lowest responsive-response bid totaled $162,300; and WHEREAS, an additional $10,000 or $2,000 per SUV is needed to prepare the vehicles for City use; and WHEREAS, the anticipated total anticipated expenditure of $172,300 will occur in the FY 2023-24 Budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed amendment information and found it acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HESPERIA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby amends the General Fund Budget and appropriates $103,380 to Account 100-29-310-3100-8420 and $68,920 to Account 100-29-300-3020-8420 in the FY 2023-24 Budget.
Section 2. That the recitals above are true and correct and adopted as findings.
Section 3. That the City Clery shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
