RECOMMENDED ACTION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-34 approving Parcel Map No. 20567 to create three parcels on approximately 71.83 gross acres of land within the Commercial/Industrial Business Park (CIBP) of the Main Street and Freeway Corridor Specific Plan located on the northwest corner of Poplar Street and Highway 395, in conjunction with the adoption of an Environmental Impact Report pursuant to the provisions of CEQA (Applicant: LA BELLE I, LLC; APNs: 3064-551-01, -02, -03, -04, -06, -07, & -08)
BACKGROUND
On January 26, 2023, the Planning Commission approved Tentative Parcel Map No. 20567 to create three parcels on approximately 71.83 gross acres of land within the Commercial/Industrial Business Park (CIBP) of the Main Street and Freeway Corridor Specific Plan located on the northwest corner of Poplar Street and Highway 395, in conjunction with the adoption of an Environmental Impact Report pursuant to the provisions of CEQA (Applicant: LA BELLE I, LLC; APNs: 3064-551-01, -02, -03, -04, -06, -07, & -08). It was approved in conjunction with conditional use permit CUP22-00003 to allow the construction of a 750,000 square foot distribution building.
Staff has reviewed the map and determined that it complies with all the General Plan and zoning regulations and with all local ordinances related to the creation of these parcels.
