Uniform Services Contract Amendment
RECOMMENDED ACTION
It is recommended that the City Council and the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District approve an amendment of $30,000 to the contract with Mission Linen Supply for uniform services for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $97,146 and approve a one-year contract extension.
BACKGROUND
On November 1, 2022, the City Council and the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District entered into a two-year agreement with Mission Linen Supply to provide uniform services. These services provide uniform rental and laundering services for various departments/divisions that regularly perform their job duties outside of City buildings.
ISSUES/ANALYSIS
The current contract with Mission Linen Supply expires on October 31, 2024. After reviewing Mission Linen’s contract performance and gathering feedback from the various departments, staff recommends extending the contract for an additional year. Mission Linen Supply has also agreed to hold the current contract pricing for an additional year.
