NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Public Hearings will be held before the Hesperia City Council, City of Hesperia, California on the following date.
DATE OF HEARING: 8/20/2024 (Tuesday)
TIME OF HEARING: 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible PLACE OF HEARING: City of Hesperia, Council Chambers, 9700 Seventh Avenue, Hesperia, CA 92345 Any person affected or concerned by these proposals may submit written comments to the City Clerk's office before the public hearing or appear and be heard in support of or in opposition to the proposals at the time of the public hearings.
If you challenge these proposals in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you, or someone else raised at the public hearings described in this Public Hearing Notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to the public hearings.
FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:
1. Consideration of the Planning Commission's recommendation that the City Council introduce and place on first reading Ordinance No. 2024-09 approving Development Code Amendment DCA24-00001 and Specific Plan Amendment SPLA24-00001 modifying the development requirements associated with establishment of new or the expansion of existing single price overstock/discount stores (SPODS).
2. Consideration of the Planning Commission's recommendation that the City Council introduce and place on first reading Ordinance No. 2024-08 approving Specific Plan Amendment SPLA24-00003 to increase the Floor Area Ratio within the Regional Commercial (RC) zone of the Main Street and Freeway Corridor Specific Plan from 0.23 to 0.35.
