RESOLUTION NO. 2025-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DESIGNATE A DIRECTOR AND ALTERNATE DIRECTOR TO THE PUBLIC ENTITY RISK MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHEREAS, in compliance with the Joint Powers Agreement document of the Public Entity Risk Management Authority (PERMA) revised on March 13, 2013, and entered into by the member organizations to jointly develop and fund programs of insurance and such other coverage as may be determined by PERMA; and WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement document of PERMA is governed by directors or alternate directors designated by each member organization participating in PERMA; and WHEREAS, City Council of the City of Hesperia approved membership for the City of Hesperia to join PERMA on March 2, 2010, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2010-011, approved membership to join PERMA and designated Director and Alternate Directors to participate in PERMA’s Board; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HESPERIA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the recitals above are true and correct.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to designate the Director and Alternate Director to participate in PERMA’s board.
Section 3. That the City Clerk/Board Secretary shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
