AUDIENCE
Resident and Library Commissioner Britt Aaronson representing Hidden Hills stated that she was having problems logging into the ZOOM meeting and that she was available to answer any questions about library policy, programs, services and budget. 'i After testing the ZOOM link, City Attorney Diaz confirmed that the link has been tested and is working, so the Council can proceed with the meeting. One of the requirements of AB 361 is to ensure that feature is working and it is.

Melissa Bumstead, from Parents Against Santa Susana Field Lab, invited the City Council to participate in a ZOOM meeting on Wednesday, May 11" at 3:00 p.m. to address the CalEPA announcement from today that they would be holding Boeing accountable to the strictest cleanup and rigorously enforce the 2007 Consent Order, in order to protect residents from SSFL contamination. She claims this is false. The deal just announced overturns the 2007 Order and will allow cleanup standards for toxic chemicals 100x weaker than in the longstanding agreement. It will leave almost all of the contamination on Boeing's property not cleaned up.

CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS
Council Member Weber stated that he took offense to the email that was written into the meeting at the last City Council meeting, and he wanted to say to our constituents that he appreciates the emotional involvement that people have about issues, but when you look at both sides of the coin they can be equally narrow minded. He thinks they came to a very well done compromise about. the speed laws in this town. And he just wanted to say, he thinks that people should read their emails over twice before submitting them.

Council Member Siegel agreed with Council Member Weber and asked that an item be placed on upcoming agenda, regarding drafting a policy regarding emails being read into the record during City Council Minutes

the Audience section of the agenda. By way of a 3-2 vote in favor, staff was asked to put this item on an upcoming agenda.

Council Member Gold and Mayor McCorkindale stated that they feel that such a policy may restrict public participation.

Mayor McCorkindale announced that the City will be hosting Cone with a Cop on May 17 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Farmer's Market, welcoming the new Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Captain Jennifer Seetoo. Mr. Softee will be serving up free ice cream to residents.

Mayor McCorkindale also reminded everyone that there is a very important Primary Election coming up and everyone should have received their ballot in the mail by now and that it includes a vote for the Los Angeles County Sheriff as well as the Board of Supervisors, which both will impact the City of Hidden Hills. She asked the City Clerk if someone doesn't receive their ballot, what are their options.

City Clerk Gonzalez stated that the resident can go to www.lavote.gov or call 800.815.2666 and select option 2, or call City Hall and staff will assist them.
