OLD BUSINESS
Discussion Regarding the Food Truck Agreements for the 2023 Fiesta and Direction and Approval for an Agreement with In-N-Out Burger or Tommy's Hamburgers and Authorization for a Deposit and Payment
City Attorney Diaz updated the City Council that In-N-Out Burger has become available for the 2023 Fiesta on September 30, 2023. Based on this recent information, staff has decided to accept the proposal from In-N-Out. At the last meeting, the City Council was concerned with some of the agreement wording provided by the vendor. Staff has requested some changes be made to the agreement, for which an answer has not been received at this time. Staff does purchase Special Event Insurance every year to cover those vendors that do not have insurance and for food vendors.

As there was no further discussion, upon MOTION of Council Member Weber, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Gold, and unanimously carried on a roll call vote, it was resolved to approve a deposit in the amount of $1,000.00 to In-N-Out Burgers and authorize staff to sign an Agreement with the vendor and on behalf of the City.
