The following matters will be acted upon collectively with a single motion and vote to approve with the majority consent of the City Council. Council Members may orally register a negative vote on any Consent Calendar item without pulling the item for separate consideration before the vote on the Consent Calendar. Staff recommends the City Council approve Resolution No. 1022 appointing Michael Jenkins as Interim City Attorney, approve an agreement with Best Best and Krieger for legal services, and confirm the creation of an ad hoc city attorney selection subcommittee consisting of Council Members McCorkindale and Loggia.

11. Approval of a Contract with In-N-Out Burger and a $1,000 Deposit for the Hidden Hills Fiesta
Staff recommends the City Council approve a deposit of $1,000 to In-N-Out Burger to provide 2 trucks on September 14, 2024 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and authorize the Interim City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. 11 - 2-12-24.pdf

AUDIENCE
Members of the audience are invited to address the Council at this time on items that are not on the printed agenda. Per California Government Code Section 54954.2, the City Council is prohibited from discussing or taking immediate action on any item not on the agenda unless it can be demonstrated that the item is of an emergency nature, or the need to take action arose subsequent to the posting of the agenda.
Public Participation:
The public is invited to attend and provide public comment. Public comments are limited to three minutes per speaker. This time allotment may be reduced due to time constraints at the discretion of the City Council. Public participation on agenda and non-agenda items is allowed in the following ways:
in person in the City Council Chambers, at the teleconference locations (if any), by hard copy or email or if attending the meeting virtually, live public comments may be received by Zoom. Written public comments on agenda and non-agenda items will be accepted by hard copy or email to [email protected] prior to the meeting and must identify the agenda item number and indicate that it pertains to a non-agenda item. Such written comments must be received by the City Clerk no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Written comments by email and hard copy correspondence will be received and filed.
Members of the public may join the meeting via the Zoom platform and the Mayor will call on you for public comment. To ask a question or comment during a meeting, click on the icon labeled "Participants" at the bottom center of your PC or Mac screen. At the bottom of the window on the right side of the screen, click the button labeled "Raise Hand." Your digital hand is now raised.
