BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A Resolution correcting a clerical error in Resolution No. 2022-118 of the City Council of the City of Hollister, California, submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Hollister a measure adding section 2.04.340 to Chapter 2.04 (City Council) of the Hollister Municipal Code to establish term limits on Mayoral and City Council Member service, at a General Municipal Election to be consolidated with the Statewide General Election to be held November 8, 2022, and setting rules for arguments and rebuttals for and against said measure

1. Roles & Responsibilities - City Council & Planning Commission (Planning)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The City Attorney’s Office will provide a presentation on the roles and responsibilities of the City Council and Planning Commission as well as a brief presentation on the planning processes for the City of Hollister.
RECOMMENDATION: That the joint session of the City Council and Planning Commission receive the presentation.
2. A Discussion of the Planning Department’s Plan for Future Joint Study Sessions Between the City Council and Planning Commission to Review a Major Overhaul of the Zoning Ordinance. (Planning)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The City Council and Planning Commission will discuss the Planning Department’s plan for a major overhaul of the Zoning Ordinance (Title 17, Zoning, of the Hollister Municipal Code).
RECOMMENDATION: Provide Staff with direction on the proposed phasing of the major overhaul of the Zoning Ordinance.
