4 Discuss and porvide possible direction to staff about setting policy and improving information sharing and messaging city updates to the policy.
1. City Council to receive a presentation regarding existing resources and policy related to messaging the public.
2. Provide cost estimates for supporting an improving messaging process and policy.
3. Provide possible direction to staff about updating policy.
In an effort to be more open and transparent, the City should increase the amount of information passed on to the public. This requires increasing our social media presence, enhancing out website, and providing more frequent written material and/or mailers with city updates.

4 Planning Commission's tentative map approval process
1. Receive a presentation regarding the current Planning Commission tentative map approval process and provide possible direction to staff
Tentative map approvals are one of the most significant milestone in any development project. The City Council should receive a presentation on this process, including their role vs. the Planning Commission's in the approval process.
