I, Yvette Rios, City Clerk of the City of Holtville, California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing agenda was duly posted at Holtville City Hall and on the City of Holtville's website (www.Holtville.ca.gov) on Friday, August 14, 2026. on the agenda for this meeting within the purview of the City Council.

CERTIFICATE OF FACTS
NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL ELECTION
I, Yvette Rios, City Clerk of the City of Holtville in the State of California, hereby certify the following facts pursuant to California Elections Code section 10229:
1. The nomination period for the offices of Holtville City Council of the November 3, 2026 General Election closed in accordance with the California Elections Code.
2. Two (2) seats on the Holtville City Council were to be filled at the November 3, 2026 General Municipal Election.
3. Upon the close of the nomination period, only Two (2) persons qualified as candidates by filing valid Declarations of Candidacy for the offices to be filled.
4. The number of candidates nominated does not exceed the number of offices to be filled.
Therefore, pursuant to California Elections Code section 10229, I hereby certify these facts to the governing body of the City of Holtville and inform the governing body that it may, at a regular or special meeting held before August 20, 2026, appoint, in lieu of election, to the office the persons who have been nominated. If the governing body makes such appointments, the November 3, 2026 General Election shall not be held for those offices.
