2.1: Turlock Mosquito Abatement District Update - Michael Mitchell, Board Representative.

Distrie! Mitchell provided an update regarding the Turlock Mosquito Abatement BAWANAN/CROOKER 3-0-0-2 motion passes to allow Mayor Carr to participate in the meeting remotely, with the following roll call vote:

3. CONSENT CALENDAR:

3.1: Approve the Minutes of the Meeting of May 22, 2023.
3.2: Approve the Warrants Register.
Councilmember Rush requested that item number 3.3 be pulled from the Consent Calendar for special consideration. This item was discussed during the closed session.

4.1: Adopt Resolution No. 2023-29, Awarding the Contract for the Purchase and Delivery of the Restroom and Concession Stand at Lebright Fields, and Awarding the Contract for the Construction of ADA Walkways at Lebright Fields, and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Contracts

6.1: Adopt Resolution No. 2023-30, Awarding the Reconstruction of the Restrooms and Restrooms Entry Way at the Senior Community Center to Thompson Woolley Builders, in the Amount of $129,350 with a 10% Contingency; and Award the Painting of the Main Hall in the Senior Community Center to Joaquin Painting, in the Amount of $7,700 with a 10% Contingency; and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement with Thompson Woolley Builders.
City Manager Mayhew presented the staff report on this item.

City Manager:
City Manager Mayhew provided a Senior Center re-opening update. She also informed the City Council that Councilmember Strain will be returning in July 2023.
Community Development Director:
Director Jauregui provided an update regarding the Parkwood Development. During her comment period, Cort Abney, the City of Hughson Water Engineer provided an update regarding the Well 7 Replacement Project.
Police Services:
Chief Landeros provided the City Council with the latest Crime Statistic Report.
8.2: Council Comments: (Information Only - No Action)
Councilmember Crooker attended the Laying of the Wreath Veterans Memorial on May 29, 2023. He attended a City/Fire 2+2 Committee Meeting on June 7, 2023.
Mayor Pro Tem Bawanan attended a Hughson Ministerial breakfast. He thanked City staff and Hughson Police Services for all their hard work.
9. CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING:
9.1: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) or (3) of subdivision (dl) of Section 54956.9: Two (2) cases Mayor Carr was not present during the closed session.
