4.1: Approval to Award Sidewalk Repair Project to CLS Landscape and Concrete in an Amount Not to Exceed $50,000.
Superintendent Vasquez presented the staff report on this item.

4.2: Adoption of Resolution No. 2023-39, Awarding the Contract for the Lebright Restroom Site Preparation and Finish, to McFadden Construction in the Amount of $65,726.

5.1: Introduce and Waive the First Reading of Ordinance No. 2023- 03, Amending Chapter 15.12 - Flood Damage Prevention to Title 15 "Buildings and Construction" of the City Municipal Code.

8.1: Staff Reports and Comments: (Information Only - No Action) City Manager:
City Manager Mayhew provided an update regarding Well 9 & 10, the Community Facilities District at Parkwood, and the City of Hughson payroll frequency. She also informed the Council that Huskies Football and Cheer is now practicing at both Star Park, and Lebright Park.
Community Development Director:
Director Jauregui provided an update regarding the Measure L Bid Opening, and upcoming traffic delays within the City.
Police Services:
Chief Landeros provided the City Council with the latest Crime Statistic Report.
8.2: Council Comments: (Information Only - No Action)
Councilmember Crooker attended an Employee Appreciation luncheon on July 12, 2023. He attended an Economic Development Committee meeting on July 24, 2023.
He thanked Hughson Police Services and City staff for their continued hard work.
Councilmember Strain attended an Employee Appreciation luncheon on July 12, 2023. She attended an Economic Development Committee meeting on July 24, 2023. She urged Hughson residents to attend the scheduled public hearing or August 14, 2023.
Mayor Pro Tem Bawanan announced that he will be resigning from the Hughson City Council, with his last meeting being August 28, 2023. He thanked Hughson Police Services and City staff for their continued hard work.

City Council Minutes July 24, 2023
Mayor Carr attended the Well 9 & 10 Grand Opening event on July 20, 2023. He announced the swine results from the Stanislaus County Fair. He provided a reminder regarding the National Night Out event on August 1, 2023.
