3.4: Authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Denise Schiefer to provide Planning and Building Program Services.

5. PUBLIC HEARING:
5.1: A. Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-20, Confirming Diagrams, Assessments and Reports and Levying Assessments for Fiscal Year 2024-25 for All Landscape and Lighting Districts (LLDs) and All Benefit Assessment Districts (BADs) within the City of Hughson.
Rick Clark, with Harris & Associates presented the staff report on this item.

Director Weimer presented the staff report on this item.

8.1: Staff Reports and/or Comments:
City Manager Romo provided an update and information regarding the Sheriffs Office contract for Law Enforcement Services.
Director Weimer provided a financial update regarding Stanislaus Animal Services Agency (5454).
Chief MacKinnon provided the City Council with the latest Crime Statistic Report and informed the Council of the scheduled "Cone with a Cop" event on June 24, 2024.
8.2: Council Member/Mayor Comments:
Councilmember Rush inquired on the status of the Hughson Post Office's weed abatement/code enforcement complaint. Staff advised it was scheduled to be cleared by June
14. Mayor Carr attended the Hughson Historical Society meeting on June 4, 2024., where he felt honored to present the City's Proclamation to descendants of Hiram and Luella Hughson.
