Kathryn Casey introduced a new intern from Mid Valley Publications.
PRESENTATIONS:
1 City Council Minutes July 22, 2024
2.1: Proclaim August 6, 2024, as National Night Out in the City of Hughson.
Mayor Carr proclaimed August 6, 2024, as National Night Out in the City of Hughson. No action was taken.
Councilmember Strain arrived at 6:05 PM.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
3.1: Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 8, 2024.
3.2: Approval of the Warrants.
3.3: Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-27, Repealing Resolution No. 08-129, and Adopting an Amended Rental Fee Schedule for Lebright Fields.
CARR/CROOKER 4-0-0-1 motion passes to approve the Consent Calendar as presented, with the following roll call vote:

6.1: Draft Housing Element 2023-2031 Housing Plan - Informational Discussion.
Perry Banner, DeNovo Consultant, presented the staff report on this item.
No action was taken.

City Manager Romo informed the Council that she has been having meetings with StanCOG.
Director of Finance attended a SASA Subcommittee meeting. 2 City Council Minutes July 22, 2024
Community Development Director Jauregui provided an update regarding several Public Works and Planning Projects.
Chief MacKinnon provided the latest statistical report.
8.2: Council Member/Mayor Comments:
Mayor Pro Tem Crooker attended a West Turlock Subbasin GSA Meeting on July 11, 2024.
Mayor Carr attended a StaRTA Seminar.
Mayor Carr adjourned the meeting into Closed Session at 6:58 PM.
CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING:
9.1: CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
Agency designated representatives: Dominique Romo, City Manager Employee Organization: Operating Engineers Local Union 3 The Council returned from Closed Session at 8:59 PM. All Councilmembers were present for the duration of the session, except for Councilmember McFadon who was absent.
There was no reportable action.
