The Honorable Barbara Delgleize
Mayor of Huntington Beach
2000 Main Street
Huntington Beach, CA 92648
Dear Mayor Delgleize:

The Superior Court Presiding Judge Eick Larsh has forwarded to the Orange County Grand Jury (OCG) a copy of your June 21 letter submitted in response to Grand Jury Recommendation No. 4 listed in the report entitled "Orange County Power Authority Come Clean." In your letter to the Grand Jury you wrote that you and the Huntington Beach City Council concur with the Grand Jury's recommendation that "henceforth" the Orange County Power Authority should utilize a member agency clerk, or assign a qualified OCPA staff member, to prepare agendas and take minutes for the OCPA Board and OCPA Community Advisory Board to ensure that both. the agendas and the minutes are prepared properly and posted in a timely manner.

The Grand Jury requests that, prior to the original deadline for submission of the Huntington Beach response, you submit a follow-up letter explaining what action the City will take to try to ensure that the Grand Jury's recommendation will be implemented.
