The members of the City of Huntington Beach City Council have read and reviewed the Orange County Grand Jury report, ”Orange County Power Authority Come Clean.”
On September 6, 2022 the City Council voted to support Recommendation No. 4, whereby the Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) should hire a member agency clerk or assign a qualified OCPA staff member to handle agendas and minutes for the OCPA Board and OCPA Community Advisory Board, to ensure that they are prepared properly and posted in a timely manner.
The Huntington Beach City Council representatives on the OCPA Board will request an action item of the OCPA to hire a qualified clerk or assign a qualified OCPA staff member to handle agendas and minutes for the OCPA Board and OCPA Community Advisory Board.
