Last year there was controversy over nominees to the Historic Resources Board. Candidates were on an agenda and then the item was pulled.
That prompted me to look at the bylaws of the Historic Resources Board and other commissions. Despite a revamp of the City's boards and commissions under Mr. Chi there seems to be no standardization of bylaws and authorities. For example the Historic Resource Board has a role in the nomination process of its members. In that you are currently looking at the composition of commissions, please take a look at their bylaws and authorities and intended role.
