July 20, 2021 – Council approves 3-year on-call agreement with KOA for grant writing and administration Not-to-exceed $250,000
KOA assisted with:
Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP)
Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP)
Total billed to date - $246,420
Additional work - Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) funding through the USDOT

Recommended Action
Approve Amendment No. 1 extending the contract by one year and increasing the not-to-exceed by $50,000 for a total not-to-exceed of $300,000 Appropriate $50,000 from the Prop 42 (219) fund balance Alternative Action
Do not approve the amendment and instruct staff to utilize another on-call consulting service
