A few slides later, you go into a fair amount of detail about plans for new concert and sports facilities to spur tourism, so you seem to have some vision of “growth” for the cit
y. My advice is to picture some of those folks attending the Tijuana Dogs concert at Tony Strickland Amphitheater repeatedly spending the night in HB — optimally for about 25‐30% of their income — while also attending schools, patronizing businesses, forming fa milies, attending a wide variety of religious and spiritual institutions, and enhancing the community.
In your mind, maybe you see 15,000 of these people. Maybe you see 2. Either way, you owe it to the city and its citizens to put it down on paper and ex plain how you might achieve it.
