As a veteran of 20 years with the US Navy, I applaud your City Council for your 2024 city calendar that promotes love of our country, no matter how imperfect it is, and getting rid of celebrating "Woke" ideology.

Just heard about your banning of woke celebrations in Huntington Beach. Good for you for standing up for normalcy, logic, and history in our country and bringing back the important founding and historical values upon which America was built It is a brave thing to do these days in America, and especially in California. I am proud that patriots still exist and are willing to do what’s right for the country as a whole rather than cater to insanity of identity politics dividing our country. Great job!
