Discussion Items
1. Federal Legislative Update: Stapleton unable to attend December meeting.
2. State Legislative Update : Brown noted that new leadership and budget restrictions will impact the start of the legislative session in 2024. Two -year bills will be reintroduced in January with a 30 -day turnaround to pass out of their originating houses. The Governor’s budget will be introduced in January. Housing will continue to be a hot topic. Multiple bonds will be introduced in 2024.
