Dear City Clerk,
As the homeowners of 17382 Caspers Circle (92647), we hereby submit this written protest AGAINST any increase to water and wastewater rates and charges.
City council members have long known that there were budge shortfalls, but proceeded with exorbitant payouts to 3rd parties, well above the anticipated costs for events like the airshow. When they ran for election, they knew these budget issues existed. Their poor decision making should not affect residents who have strict set incomes, or whose incomes have been damaged by the pandemic economic effects. These funds would largely offset anticipated costs for infrastructure.

We are being hit with rate increases on everything we need as homeowners and residents of HB. As retirees on a fixed income, it is getting harder and harder to remain in California due to all of the new taxes, rate increases and fees coming from the State, County and City government agencies.
