Approve the Carr Park reconfiguration conceptual plan
I have lived close to Carr Park for the last 33 years and visit the neighborhood park quite regularly. I attended each of the on-site neighborhood outreach meetings that were conducted since the announcement of the park renovation a year ago. I was impressed by the quality of the options submitted, and I’m happy to see the project advance.
I support the move to Approve the Carr Park reconfiguration conceptual plan as recommended by the Community & Library Services Commission. I urge you to approve the ambitious design and engineering proposals that have been developed to address some serious long standing problems with the current lake configuration. The proposed solutions seem innovative and well conceived. The upgrades to the park are very appealing and I encourage you to approve the plan as described.
