The next meeting is scheduled for November 12, 2024.

Discussion ensued regarding state legislative items Senate Concurrent Resolution 165 for the naming of a section of the 405 Freeway as Surf City Highway, Proposition 33 - a ballot initiative for rent control, and Proposition 36 which would make changes to the 2014 Prop 47 to enhance penalties related to theft and drug crimes. Recommended items will be brought forth to City Council on August 8.
